(Joe goes upstairs and slowly opened Vico's door)Joe: Vico, can I come in?(she stays quiet) I need to talk to you.(Vico was on the edge of the bed with her eyes watery.)Vico: What about? (she didnt look at him as she spoke)Joe: Why did you get so mad down there? (he sat next to her)Vico: (she stayed quiet but everything started coming back to her and she got really angry) Im tired of everyone treating me like a useless imbecile! I hate that everyone wants to do everything for me! I can do things myself. I dont need to be treated like that!Joe: (very calmly) Vico, theyre not doing it to make you feel useless... they just want to help.Vico: (sighs) I know they mean well, but (she thought about what Sarah had said) Sarah always says or does something that makes me feel like that.Joe: But Vico, you know shes not doing it on purpose. She was only trying to help you.Vico: (getting mad again) I know! I know already okay! But Im tired of people wanting to HELP!! UGH! I HATE being blind! I dont want to be like this anymore! (she started to cry) All I want is for everything to go back to what it used to be!Joe: I know how you feel-Vico: YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL!?!? You dont know how I feel! (she stood up) No one knows how I feel because IM the one thats blind! Not you!(Joe looks down and stays quiet) (Vico realized that Joe stayed quiet and she felt bad for what she said)Vico: I-Im sorry, Joe. I didnt mean it like that.Joe: (still looking down at his hands) Where did you leave the old Vico?... The one that was nice, sweet, and kind. (Vico looked away, knowing that he was right she HAD changed.) I want to see THAT Vico. The Vico I fell in love with (they both stayed quiet while Vicos eyes got watery again) It hurts me too seeing you like this. If I could take your place Id do it in a heartbeat. Theres nothing else in the world I want more than to make you see again. Vico I miss the times that you looked in my eyes and told me that you loved me. (his eyes got watery too)Vico: (after a long silence) I miss it too. (whispers to herself) More than youll ever know.Joe: (he had heard the last part and took her hands) Vico why dont you have surgery?Vico: S-surgery?Joe: Yeah. (he smiled hopeful)Vico: I-I dont know.Joe: (confused) You dont know what? You dont want to get your sight back?Vico: Of course I do. (looks down) Its not thatJoe: Then what is it?Vico: Im scared.Joe: Of what?Vico: Of me not recovering my sight after the surgery. What would become of me if I stay like this forever? What would become of us, Joe? (Joe kept listening) I dont know, JoeJoe: Vico, nothings gonna change. Ill stay with you always. Vico, (he pulled her face to face him) I love you.Vico: Do you love me that much? That you would stay with me even if you knew that Id be blind for the rest of my life?Joe: Yes (kisses her lips guilty) I love you and I always will, Vico. Never forget that.Vico: I love you, too. (she smiles)Joe: So what do you say about the surgery?Vico: (she stayed quiet for awhile thinking about it but then she finally answered) Yes.(Joe smiles and kisses her face several times until he reached for her lips. Vico smiled and continued kissing him, realizing that she hadnt kissed him like that since before the accident. Joe laid Vico down gently on the bed and kept kissing her. Vico slowly opened her mouth while Joe entered his tongue in her mouth. They kept kissing like that for a few minutes. Joes hands kept going up and down her back. Soon they heard someone knocking on the door)Sarah: Vico, are you there?(Vico pulled away and sits up immediately, leaving Joe laying down obviously wanting more.)Sarah: (from the door) Vico, look Im sorry.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ok so we're really sorry for not posting sooner. As we said we;ve been booked with homework and I'm sure a lot of you are going through the same thing. But we hope you liked the chapter and we'll try to get the chapters up sooner.
