Nov 25, 2008 - They never called it a sinful mistake, they just called it a mistake. Yet abortion though is worse since you are killing those who have not even lived or felt anything yet..

RockyBalboa211 Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - God bless the catholic church!

fara40000 Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - oh my gosh abortion AGAIN?! my god, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD!!?!?! obama symply voted for abortion because he didn't want to force those poor girls to have to have a baby! yes it was their fault for getting laid, but for god's sake give them some options! he's hoping that he can help them want to have the baby! i'm a girl, and i agree with his idea! if i got pregnant, i would be thankful for the choice!!! so STFU religeous people, cuz UR NOT HELPING!!!!!btw, i was originaly catholic. XP

Nov 25, 2008 - the pope called it a sin and they protested against bc it was going to kill innocent liveslike i said, the church cannot select one sin over the other, god sees all sins the sameits just you that sees it differentlyactually the priest is speaking for himself not the catholic churchi honestly dont know why this man did not make them repent before as well, this is not the first time a democratic candidate is pro choice, why wont they go and spend their energy fighting hunger and poverty

cg66079 Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - Religion and politics don't mix well. As I remember history, when the Roman Catholic Church is responsible for whipping complete cultures off the face of the earth and killing millions when they used the political powers that be to wage a holy war to convert or kill the world. So Obama is a murderer you say? This is what you get when you mix religion and politics, a hot mess. This priest needs to keep his political opinions to himself and represent God by good works not rhetoric.

KaptainChronic69 Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - Good point. Its worth mentioning that while as a Christian, Im opposeed to abortion, but lets face reality folks, what do u expect our elected officials to do about it?

katdanmo Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - THere are more mormones and jahovas in US then there are Catholics all all those mormones supported also George Bush and voted again Obama! Why do not you say that to the public!

gerbs96 Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - I fail to see how a middle aged virgin by choice who has blindly committed his life to something as intangible as religion can possibly be taken seriously. America has a secular constitution for good reason. It is a shame that Christianity is actively attempting to make this a theocratic society. Stem cell research, for example, has the potential to revolutionize how we treat and cure diseases. But because of nonsensical dogma it has been put on the back burner.

gerbs96 Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - Stem cells are nothing more than a small cluster of 150 cells. This amount can fit in a petri dish. But apparently there is a soul in amidst those few random cells and for that reason research hit a road block. Thinking like this only creates distractions from the real problems we have to face. Lets worry about the problems that affect everybody and not just the religious community, such as our pathetic economy and global warming.

sebastians92 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - I hope you don't take any offense. But the reason why many people want to make it so, it b/c this country was founded on Christian principles and our founding fathers worked sooo hard to develop it such a way. However freedom of religion is and always has been accepted for many hundreds of years...Sebastian

sebastians92 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - Sorry, but God doesn't see all sins same. Whatever the sin may be, it is still a SIN! It isn't just that Catholic that sees it such a way but 1.2billion of the world and billions of others from other religions. The priest IS talking for the whole Church b/c was are all taught to believe the same! And we DO spend our energy fighting hunger and poverty. Catholic Charities is a network of more than 1,700 agencies and institutions nationwide. More than 7.8 million ppl of all faiths are helped.

sebastians92 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - No! That is not true! JFK didn't support abortion. And 43% of women who had abortions of ages in the most recent survey said they were Protestant, while only 27% said they were Catholic... sorry but both your claims are false...Sebastian

gerbs96 Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - I do not take offense, but it is inaccurate. At the very best our founding fathers, such as Jefferson, were deists. They did not believe in a god that intervened in human affairs. A secular constitution was put into place because Theocracies have terrible track records. It can be used as as a catalyst for fascist and totalitarian regimes if the wrong people are in power. The prominence of Christians does not make America a Christian nation, just a nation with a lot of Christians.

sebastians92 Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - It's pretty accurate, but not 100%. Episcopalian/Anglican 54.7% Presbyterian 18.6% Congregationalist 16.8% Quaker 4.3% Dutch Reformed/German Reformed 3.7% Lutheran 3.1% Catholic 1.9% Huguenot 1.9% Unitarian 1.9% Methodist 1.2% Calvinist 0.6% The Founding Fathers even though they didn't believe in a theocracy but the structure and belief system set up was in such a way that it included much of Christian Principles even if it wasn't 100%. I understand ur position though.thanx

blaynestaleypro Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - The pastor and all his followers should kill themselves to preserve the intelligence and integrity of the human race

onclave6 Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - We need more church leaders like Father Newman he is a good man . He does not support 40,000,000 murders to happen as Obama does . He is a supporter of the holocaust of the unborn . Why dont you hush up and find Jesus. All Atheists will learn

onclave6 Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - actually there are more Catholics then those , we have over 1billion catholics none of those dnominations you mentioned have come close.

katdanmo Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - Why is that they do not come clean and close those other dominations, does that say some thing about other dominations?? Just watch my video and you will see how many of them are out there and sadly but truly no one talks about them!

blaynestaleypro Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - Ya, your new president supports murder you fucken idiot. Of course he doesn't but your'e so stupid you'll believe horse shit coming out of this asshole's mouth. The bible is bullshit. It's probably an astrotheological literary hybrid. Look it up.... god damn hicks.

tonygem Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - What is most important to understand about the CC is that it is crumbling from the inside. Millions of catholics worldwide have be adversely affected by the priest abuse of children in almost every country. The pay-out to abuse victims in the USA alone is $3 billion. This huge decrease in their finances affects the institutional church severely and forces them to rely only on the most conservative donors. They will have less influence in the world as a whole which to me is the best outcome.

onclave6 Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - Obama supports the holocaust of the unborn. Its a fact he supports abortion and will lift the restrictions of it . Abortion =murder.I am from New Jersey and live in South Carolina.I am not what one would call a hick. Were the Bible Belt. Were the smart ones.Atheist=damnation.

onclave6 Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - Their is a fraction of priests that committed these acts compare to the many more in the 45,000 other christian churches we by far have over 1billion people and the most Christians so you hear about us more when this happens.dont spin like a liberal son.

RockyBalboa211 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - There lack of influence though could lead to a moral decline. I mean the young people now adays are very self centered.

y006 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Nothing like some good old fashioned religious guilt. Keep the brainwashing coming.

CosmosPrivateer Says:

Dec 3, 2008 - The truth is coming out and the churches will only have themselves to blame in the end.I think the Churches need to get their stuff together. The Creator is getting pissed off.
