Aug 28, 2008 - Admitting that we're sinful is the first step and the hardest step at that. Great word. God bless you always brother!

BibleTruth9 Says:

Aug 28, 2008 - Indeed it is! Christianity=Humility!

Aug 29, 2008 - Well said.

JesseMorrell Says:

Aug 31, 2008 - Lk 12:46 says that a Christian who becomes a hypocrite through disobedience will end up being treated like the unbelievers. Hypocrites are no longer Christians, they are no longer saved.

JesseMorrell Says:

Aug 31, 2008 - Christians are those who were formerly disobedient (Tit. 3:3; 1 Pet. 3:20) but are no longer disobedient (Rom. 6:17; Php. 2:12; Eph. 6:6; 1 Jn. 3:9; 3:22). Christians make the daily choice to obey God (Lk. 9:23; 1 Cor. 15:31).

Sep 18, 2008 - i disagree because true christians are suppose to live by the bible because action's are louder! this video is true but if christian's aren't living the truth, how are we suppose to turn this world around? we as christian's do have a bad rapatation :( if people say their christian's they should live like it. i know we aren't perfect but still. God-Bless

BibleTruth9 Says:

Sep 19, 2008 - this video wasnt advocating that christians are free to go and sin. The purpose was to tell people, Look we arent perfect. even the bible says we arent perfect. Live a christian life to the best of your ability. but just know this, You will make mistakes. But its ok your forgiven! God Bless

bmjesus08 Says:

Sep 22, 2008 - Your right Jesus, and the bible are the source, human examples are distractions from both.

mikepeare Says:

Sep 27, 2008 - Hey again. Although we have opposing views, I think your logic is sound concerning christians had sinning; solid in my opinion, and something I hate to hear from those arguing against christianity. So good job on that front.Still, as always, I do have a thought about sin and the idea of forgiveness...with its moral implications: (see next post)

mikepeare Says:

Sep 27, 2008 - The idea of separating oneself from sin through forgiveness is scapegoating and is the very basis of moral and ethical injustice and fallacy. The belief that one can do anything and not be held responsible creates a dangerous situation where we feel permitted to sin because we are not held responsible if sorry in the end. Scapegoating never removes sins, nor should it. If you believe that you can separate yourself from sin by transfering it to another being, you debase morality at its core.

daveixoye Says:

Oct 1, 2008 - You certainly can be right from an objective standing. However from a Christian perspective responsibility and accountability still exists but the effect/punishment is taken on my the scapegoat. The catch to this contract is that of repentance. If you don't develop morality to a greater level, then 1)your scapegoat was wasted, 2)you only thought you were using a scapegoat.Would you not agree that morality based solely on punishment avoidance is simply wisdom, not morality?

mikepeare Says:

Oct 1, 2008 - Dave,I agree that repentance is important to morality. I struggle with the logic & morals behind scapegoating, which Christians must believe (Jesus = scapegoat, died for our sins). Jesus is not only forgiving us, he was sacrificed and takes on our guilt - Christians are 'absolved' from their sins meaning guilt is removed. We both agree repentance and guilt are important to developing morals, but scapegoating removes guilt. Morally, how do you feel about scapegoating? Thanks for the response!

daveixoye Says:

Oct 2, 2008 - Mike,Guilt is both legal and emotional. You may not be found guilty in court but you know whether you are guilty or not. And that troubling consequence can be as bad as punishment. Now there is another resource that comes into action that you must scripturally deal with. That is the Holy Spirit.Hence Christian scapegoating is not freedom of will to do what one pleases, but freedom to do what is right morally with the sometimes gentle leading. Annanias and Sapphira are examples.Thank you...

Oct 12, 2008 - Yes people need to realize that Jesus died for all of our sins not just the ones we did in the past but the right now ones and the future ones. shoot we have sins we may not even be aware of yet till the spirit shows us them...sooo and this should be good news to sinners that Jesus died for our sins. All of them. So sinners be glad smile except his free gift of salvation for its free..and begin a wonderful journey of love.. Life will be easy all the time? NO! but soooo worth it!

Nov 9, 2008 - A flash of lightning, a crack of thunder. It is time, the ritual will now begin. We stand before the dark alter as the demon lord stirs.Foul sheep drown themselves in empty lies.We are here to render them to pieces. The haunting winds begin to blow.A sacrificial lamb is bestowed before the serpent.Lucifer has awoken. The ground shatters under his might.Slaves of christ huddle within a church.Their time is at a darkened end. With a mighty blow, Satan crushes his final foes.
